Cinnamon Chocolate Stirrers (For Coffee or Cocoa!)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chunks, can use dairy-free chocolate or dark chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 10 large cinnamon sticks

  1. Melt: Add 1 cup chocolate chips and 1 tsp coconut oil to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 15-second bursts, stirring between rounds, until most of the chocolate is melted. Stir to melt the remaining chunks.
  2. Dip: Prepare a parchment paper lined plate of board (one that will fit in your freezer or fridge). Dip each cinnamon stick into the chocolate to coat about half of the stick, transferring each to the parchment-lined plate when finished.
  3. Harden: Place the plate in the freezer or fridge for about 10 minutes, or until chocolate is hardened.
  4. Serve: Stir into cocoa or coffee and enjoy! (The amount of chocolate on these isn't quite enough to turn a cup of milk into hot cocoa, so use them to enhance hot cocoa or to flavor coffee.)

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container or wrapper at a cool room temperature for 1 to 2 months.
