Citrusy Christmas Margarita Recipe (Single or Easy Pitcher)

Citrusy and fresh, with a classic salt rim! This Citrusy Christmas Margarita recipe is perfect for Christmas parties, family holiday gatherings, or even cocktail hour at home. I've included a recipe for both a single serving and a large pitcher depending on how many you want to whip up!

Ingredients

For one serving:
  • 2.5 oz. reduced sugar cranberry juice
  • 1.5 oz. silver tequila
  • 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tsp agave more to taste
  • Orange slice for serving
  • fresh Rosemary for serving
For the Rim:
  • salt
  • orange zest
For a Pitcher (6 servings):
  • 2 cups reduced sugar cranberry juice
  • 1.5 cups silver tequila
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier triple sec or other orange liqueur
  • 1 Tbsp agave more to taste
  • Orange slices for serving
  • fresh Rosemary for serving

Instructions

  1. Add all your ingredients to your cocktail shaker (or pitcher if making a large batch) and mix to combine.
  2. Salt the rim of your glass with orange zest and salt. Use an orange slice to dampen the rim of your glass, or dip in a shallow bowl with orange juice.
  3. After that, dip the rim of your glass in a separate shallow bowl that has the salt and orange zest mixed together.
  4. Fill your glass with ice then pour the margarita over the ice.
  5. Garnish with orange slices and fresh rosemary for serving!

Notes

  • To make this drink non-alcoholic: substitute the tequila with some sparkling water, club soda, or ginger beer. You could also use alcohol-free tequila.
