Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter , melted
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle iron to medium heat.
  2. Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar twice into a large bowl.
  3. In a medium bowl whisk together butter, milk, eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add in flour mixture and whisk until just combined.
  5. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Scoop batter onto lightly buttered waffle iron on medium heat and cook until ready light goes off and waffles are browned and crispy.
