Classic Wedge Salad
The classic wedge salad topped with tomatoes, bacon, croutons, blue cheese and homemade blue cheese dressing.
Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 4 lices Bacon cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup tomato diced and drained
- 1- 2 Tablespoons green onions finely diced, or chives
- 4 Tablespoons blue cheese crumbles
- 4 ervings croutons
- 1 cup blue cheese dressing
Instructions
- Prepare the lettuce. Remove the dirty or wilted outside layers until you reach the nice inner leaves.
- Cut the lettuce in half from the stem to the top.
- Cut those halves into wedges again, resulting in 4 wedges.
- Remove the stem part at the bottom of the wedge, trying to keep the wedge as intact as you can.
- Place each of the wedges on a serving plate.
- Top with a little bit of blue cheese dressing, bacon, tomatoes, green onions, blue cheese crumbles, croutons, and then the rest of the blue cheese dressing.
- Serve and enjoy!
