Cocktail Friday: Sloe Gin Pink Lady

A gorgeous gin based cocktail – perfect for sipping on Valentine's Day! I usually double the quantities to serve two.

Ingredients

  • 1 measure 25ml sloe gin
  • 1 measure 25ml gin
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh
  • 1/2 tbsp egg white
  • 1 tsp grenadine

Instructions

  1. Put a martini glass in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.
  2. Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with plenty of ice. Shake hard for 30 seconds and then strain into a large glass.
  3. Empty the shaker of ice and then shake the cocktail again to froth up the egg white.
  4. Pour into the chilled glass and garnish with some lemon zest or a twist if you like.
