  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon fish sauce optional
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. mix all the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl
  2. refrigerate for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • Substitutions
  • Horseradish - be sure to use the regular horseradish and not the creamed horseradish. If all you have is the creamed, use to taste.
  • Lemon Juice - it's possible to substitute lime juice instead, fresh lemon juice or the bottled lemon juice.
  • Hot Sauce - You'll want to use something like Texas Pete rather than a Franks type Wing Sauce
  • Fish Sauce - totally optional but adds a bang of flavor to your sauce.
  • There really aren't that many tips and tricks because all you really need to do is to mix it all together.
  • Mix with a spoon but if you have it, a whisk will work much better.
  • Be sure to refrigerate for an hour so that the flavors can work together better.
