Cocoa Fudge Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 7 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
  • ⅔ cup of brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup of white sugar
  • ⅓ cup of vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well.  
  3. Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Add the sugars, cocoa, and vanilla to the melted butter and mix until well combined.  
  5. Add the yogurt and mix.  Slowly add the flour mixture to the cocoa mixture until well combined.
  6. Place spoonfuls on the silpat mat about 2 inches apart.  
  7. Place into the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.  
  8. Remove from the oven then allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.  
  9. Move the cookies to the wire racks to finish cooling.  Serve with ice-cold milk. Enjoy.
