Coconut Rice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups long grain white rice
  • 1 (15-oz) can coconut milk full-fat
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 Tbsp coconut aminos or 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp salt to taste, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients (rice, coconut milk, water, coconut aminos, and sea salt) to a small saucepan. Cover and bring to a full boil. Reduce the heat and cook without touching for 15 minutes (or as long as your package of rice sauce).
  2. Remove rice from heat, fluff with a fork, then cover again and allow it to sit another 5 to 10 minutes without touching.
