Coffee Concentrate for Iced Coffee

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound coffee beans ground fine, medium roast
  • 4 quarts water I used tap water filtered in my PUR container, filtered, at room temperature

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place grounds in a clean 6 quart container. Pour water over the grounds.
  2. Stir ensuring all the grounds are moist.
  3. Cover container and let sit for 24 hours.
  4. Using a small sieved strainer and cheese cloth or coffee filter, strain coffee into a clean container. Refrigerate concentrate until ready to make iced coffee. Pour concentrate in ice cube trays.
  5. To make iced coffee, fill glass half full with concentrate. Add Milk and sweetener of your choice. Enjoy. Repeat.
