Ingredients

  • 3 lb beef roast
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 jalepeño pepper
  • 1 chipolte chile
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 12 oz can Coke Zero

Instructions

  1. Put the roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Chop the green pepper, jalepeno pepper, chipolte chile and garlic finely and add to the slow cooker.
  3. Sprinkle the cumin, onion powder, salt and pepper over the meat.
  4. Pour a can of Coke Zero over the entire dish.
  5. Cook for 5 hours on low. Then shred the beef with 2 forks and return it to the slow cooker (still on low) to cook for another hours or longer.
