Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- ¾ cup butter softened
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, or a silicone baking mat.
- Add the butter and sugar to a large mixing bowl or stand mixer.
- Mix them until fluffy.
- Add sweetened condensed milk and blend until it’s creamy.
- Add baking soda, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, and mix until combined.
- Add flour and blend until fully incorporated.
- Cover the dough with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, up to 72 hours.
- Remove the dough from the refrigerator.
- Use a cookie scoop to form balls of dough, and drop them 2” apart on the cookie sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Allow them to cool about 1 minute on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
