Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth , or water
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup barley quick-cooking

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a medium saucepan bring chicken broth and salt to a boil.
  2. Stir in the barley, reduce heat, and cover.
  3. Simmer for 12 minutes, do not open the lid.
  4. Turn off heat, leaving covered for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir gently and serve.
