- 8 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup lemon juice + 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ice to serve

Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a boil. Let it boil for 2 minutes. Then remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- Add the lemon juice and mix well.
