Copycat Disneyland Mint Julep (Non-Alcoholic)
If you are looking for a delightfully refreshing, non-alcoholic drink to get you through all of the hot summer days ahead, this Mint Julep is it! The cool flavorings of mint, cherry, and lemon mix together to create an array of flavors that will satisfy your thirst!
Ingredients
- ¾ Cup water
- ¾ Cup granulated sugar
- ¾ Teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1-2 green food coloring drops
- 2/3 Cup lemonade concentrate thawed, frozen
- ¼ Cup lime juice fresh
- 4 Cups club soda
- 2 Cups ice crushed
- mint For Garnish, sprigs
- lemon For Garnish, slices
- maraschino cherries For Garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Simmer over low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat and let cool. Once cooled, add the peppermint extract and 1-2 drops of green food coloring to finish making your homemade crème de menthe.
- In a large pitcher add the crème de menthe syrup, thawed lemonade concentrate, lime juice, club soda and ice. Mix until well combined. Pour into individual glasses.
- Garnish with fresh mint sprigs, lemon slices, and maraschino cherries.
