Copycat Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino Recipe
The Copycat Starbucks Strawberry Frappuccino combines vanilla ice cream, fresh or frozen strawberries, strawberry syrup or jam, milk, and ice blended to a smooth consistency and topped with whipped cream. It creates a creamy, sweet, and fruity iced beverage reminiscent of the popular Starbucks drink. Using frozen strawberries yields a thicker texture while chilling the glass keeps the drink cold longer. This homemade Frappuccino offers a dessert-like treat with familiar ingredients easily prepared at home.
Ingredients
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup strawberries fresh or frozen
- 2 tablespoons Strawberry Syrup or strawberry jam
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup ice
- 2 tablespoons Whipped Cream
Instructions
- In a blender, layer the ingredients except whipped cream starting with the ice cream and ending with the ice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream.
Notes
- Chill your serving glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes before serving to keep the frappuccino colder longer.
- Use frozen strawberries to achieve a thicker, milkshake-like texture preferred by many.
- The vanilla ice cream base creates a richer drink than the original Starbucks version.
