Copycat Taco Bell Nacho Fries Supreme Recipe
Satisfy your Taco Bell cravings at home with this easy Nacho Fries Supreme recipe. Crispy and spicy fries are loaded with taco beef, beans, warm nacho cheese, sour cream and more!
Ingredients
- 1 pound French Fries frozen
- 1 pound ground beef lean
- 2 envelopes taco seasoning or your favorite taco seasoning, Taco Bell brand
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 can refried beans 16 ounce
- 2 cups nacho cheese Ricos is supposed to taste the most like Taco Bell's
- sour cream
- scallions
- tomato
Instructions
- Toss your frozen fries with one envelope of taco seasoning. Make sure the fries are coated well.
- Cook the fries at 400 degrees F air fryer for 15 minutes. Or place them on a baking sheet and cook in a preheated 400 degree F oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a medium skillet.
- Add the second package of taco seasoning mix to the skillet and ⅓ cup water.
- Warm the refried beans in a small saucepan on medium-low or in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until warmed through.
- Also, heat up the nacho cheese in a saucepan on medium-low or in the microwave.
- To assemble, first put the fries on a plate or in a container. Top them with taco beef, refried beans, cheese sauce, and sour cream.
- Add some scallions and tomatoes.
Notes
- Serve this right away. The fries will get soggy if it sits.
- This recipe is also delicious with ground turkey.
- You can also add a splash of pickled jalapeno juice to your nacho cheese to make it extra spicy.
