Copycat Taco Bell Nacho Fries Supreme Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen French fries
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 envelopes Taco Bell taco seasoning or your favorite taco seasoning
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 can refried beans (16 ounce)
  • 2 cups Nacho Cheese Ricos is supposed to taste the most like Taco Bell's
  • sour cream
  • scallions
  • tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Toss your frozen fries with one envelope of taco seasoning. Make sure the fries are coated well.
  2. Cook the fries at 400 degrees F air fryer for 15 minutes. Or place them on a baking sheet and cook in a preheated 400 degree F oven for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a medium skillet.
  4. Add the second package of taco seasoning mix to the skillet and ⅓ cup water.
  5. Warm the refried beans in a small saucepan on medium-low or in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until warmed through.
  6. Also, heat up the nacho cheese in a saucepan on medium-low or in the microwave.
  7. To assemble, first put the fries on a plate or in a container. Top them with taco beef, refried beans, cheese sauce, and sour cream.
  8. Add some scallions and tomatoes.

Notes

  • Serve this right away. The fries will get soggy if it sits.
  • This recipe is also delicious with ground turkey.
  • You can also add a splash of pickled jalapeno juice to your nacho cheese to make it extra spicy.
  • Add your favorite taco toppings like jalapenos, olives, salsa, hot sauce, guacamole, and more.
  • Serve this right away. The fries will get soggy if it sits.
  • This recipe is also delicious with ground turkey.
