Ingredients
- 1 pound frozen French fries
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 envelopes Taco Bell taco seasoning or your favorite taco seasoning
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 can refried beans (16 ounce)
- 2 cups Nacho Cheese Ricos is supposed to taste the most like Taco Bell's
- sour cream
- scallions
- tomatoes
Instructions
- Toss your frozen fries with one envelope of taco seasoning. Make sure the fries are coated well.
- Cook the fries at 400 degrees F air fryer for 15 minutes. Or place them on a baking sheet and cook in a preheated 400 degree F oven for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, brown the ground beef in a medium skillet.
- Add the second package of taco seasoning mix to the skillet and ⅓ cup water.
- Warm the refried beans in a small saucepan on medium-low or in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments until warmed through.
- Also, heat up the nacho cheese in a saucepan on medium-low or in the microwave.
- To assemble, first put the fries on a plate or in a container. Top them with taco beef, refried beans, cheese sauce, and sour cream.
- Add some scallions and tomatoes.

- Serve this right away. The fries will get soggy if it sits.
- This recipe is also delicious with ground turkey.
