Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 3 tablespoons festive sprinkles
  • 1 bottle sparkling wine see notes
  • Cotton candy any color

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Put the honey into a small bowl that's slightly wider than your glasses. Warm it gently in the microwave so that it is very runny. Put the sprinkles into another small bowl. Dip the rim of a glass into the honey then into the sprinkles. Repeat with all the glasses you plan on using.
  2. Carefully fill each champagne glass ⅔ full with sparkling wine. Balance a piece of cotton candy on the rim of each glass, using a cocktail pick to help keep it in place if needed. Do not let the cotton candy touch the champagne or it will dissolve.

Notes

  • You can rim your glasses with sprinkles a day in advance.
  • Leave the cotton candy sealed until right before you use it. If you open it in advance, it will start to shrink and harden.
  • We like to serve these in small coupe glasses, but champagne flutes work equally well.
  • For a playful mocktail, use no-alcohol sparkling juice!
