Ingredients
- butter unsalted, softened, 1 cup
- granulated sugar 1 cup
- egg large
- vanilla extract
- all-purpose flour 2 cups
- cotton candy extract
- baking powder
- cotton candy pink and blue, torn into small pieces, half cup
- salt ¼ teaspoon
- Food Coloring pink and blue, optional
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and cotton candy extract. Mix well.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Add Cotton Candy & Color: Gently fold in small cotton candy pieces. For a vibrant look, divide dough and tint each half pink or blue.
- Shape Cookies: Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet. Slightly flatten.
- Bake: Bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
