Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • ¼ cup dry sherry
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh garlic
  • ½ teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 green onions sliced
  • 4 bone-in pork chops about 4 ounces each

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a large measuring cup or small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, sherry, garlic, seasoned salt, salt, and green onions.
  2. Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper and place in a re-sealable plastic bag with the marinade. Let rest on the counter for 1 hour, OR refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Remove the pork chops from the bag and discard marinade.
  4. Place pork chops on the grill and cook until the pork chop releases from the grill, about 4 minutes. Flip and cook on the other side for another 3 minutes. If you don’t have a grill or a grill pan, you can cook the chops in a large skillet the same way.

Notes

  • Cooking Just for Two? Cut all of the ingredients in half to prepare less marinade for just 2 pork chops. The rest of the cooking instructions remain the same.
