Ingredients

  • 3 .5 oz cut green beans drained
  • 8 lices thick cut bacon chopped
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add the bacon to a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon until it's crispy and cooked through.
  2. Set the bacon aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.
  3. Remove the grease from skillet and add butter.
  4. Once the butter has melted, add in the brown sugar and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer and whisk until combined.
  5. Add the green beans to the skillet and season with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  6. Mix to combine all together.
  7. Add in the bacon, mix, and enjoy!

Notes

  • Be sure the green beans are thoroughly drained. If not, they will make the entire dish watery and bland.
