Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter , softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup dried cranberries , chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add butter, brown sugar, and sugar to your stand mixer on medium speed until fluffy, about 1 minute.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt then add to the stand mixer on the lowest speed setting.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chunks and cranberries.
  6. Roll into 1" balls and add them 2 inches apart to your baking sheet, pressing them down slightly to flatten them.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Let cookie sit for 5 minutes before removing from the baking sheet.
