Ingredients

  • 1 lime sliced in wedges
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 4 ounces cranberry juice
  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce Cointreau
  • ½ ounce agave
  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • Frozen Whole Cranberries

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Take a lime wedge slice in the middle then rub around the rim of a glass. Then dip the rim into sugar. Add a few ice cubes and a few frozen cranberries into the glass and set to the side.
  2. Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Pour the cranberry juice, tequila, Cointreau, agave and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Shaker for 10 seconds until well blended.
  3. Pour the margarita into the glass add a lime wedge and enjoy.

Notes

  • Tequila - Some will say you do not use high end tequila, but it's what I prefer. Use whatever type of tequila you like to drink.
  • Liquor Substitution - If you don’t have Cointreau on hand (an Orange liqueur) you can use triple sec.
  • Spicy - Make it spicy by muddling a few slices of jalapeño with the tequila.
