Cranberry Mimosa

This cranberry mimosa recipe is a light and refreshing drink made with orange juice, cranberry juice and sparkling wine. The perfect quick and easy cocktail for Christmas and Thanksgiving!

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sanding sugar
  • 1 ounce orange juice
  • 3 ounces cranberry juice cocktail
  • 4 ounces sparkling wine
  • fresh cranberries and rosemary for garnish

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the sugar on a small plate.
  2. Dip the rim of a champagne flute or cocktail glass in water, then place the rim onto the plate of sugar.
  3. Turn the glass upright, then add orange juice.
  4. Pour in the cranberry juice, then the sparkling wine.
  5. Garnish with cranberries and rosemary, then serve.

Notes

  • This recipe is written for one drink. You can easily scale up the recipe for a crowd by changing the number of servings in the recipe card.
  • I use cranberry juice cocktail in this recipe because the sweetness is a great counterbalance to the acidity of the orange juice. You can use unsweetened cranberry juice, but the mimosa will be on the tart side.
  • Choose your favorite sparkling wine for this drink. Some great options include champagne, cava or prosecco.
