Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups water
- ½ cup dried cranberries
- 2 cup old-fashioned oats
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup shelled pistachios
- ½ cup light brown sugar
For serving:
- butter
- cream
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, over high heat, bring the water and dried cranberries to a boil.
- Stir in the oats and salt.
- Reduce the heat to medium and cook, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the pistachios and brown sugar. Stir until sugar has completely melted.
- Serve with a pat of butter and a drizzle of cream.

Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Oats will thicken as they sit, so you'll need to add a splash of milk or water before reheating in the microwave.
