Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar 200g
  • 2 cups cranberries fresh or frozen

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine the water and sugar in a saucepan. Add in the cranberries.
  2. Heat over medium heat, swirling or stirring as the syrup ingredients heat up, until the sugar has completely dissolved. This should take 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove from the heat.
  4. Let the flavors infuse for 20-30 minutes. Give it a taste at the 20-minute mark to see how it tastes for you. If you want a stronger cranberry flavor, let it steep for longer.
  5. When done infusing, strain through a fine mesh strainer.
  6. Store in a mason jar for up to a month in the refrigerator.
