Cream Cheese Caramel Apple Dip Recipe

This deliciously sweet cream cheese and caramel apple dip is easy to make in 15 minutes with a handful of ingredients. It's perfect to pair with fresh fruit like apples, or any favorite dippers!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup light brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 12 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Set a large 6-quart sauce pot on the stove top over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, butter, water, and salt. Stir, and bring the mixture to a boil.
  2. Lower the heat to medium-low and allow the mixture to gently boil for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat, and allow the caramel to cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Then whisk in the cream cheese and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is thick and smooth, with no clumps.
  5. Move the caramel dip to an airtight container and chill for at least one hour. Then slice apples and serve with a side of caramel apple dip.

Notes

  • Store the dip in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
