Cream Cheese Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Cream Cheese Garlic Mashed Potatoes are a rich and hearty family favorite! This side dish is a delicious 3 ingredient recipe perfect for a holiday meal or a Sunday dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium yellow potatoes
  • 4 oz. cream cheese cubed
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Rinse and peel your potatoes. Add the potatoes to a pot of salted boiling water. Cook until they are fork tender for about 15 minutes.
  2. Removed the potatoes from the water and place in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mash the potatoes using a large fork or potato masher until smooth and well combined.
  3. *Do NOT use an electric beater or you can easily over beat the potatoes and they will become gummy.
