Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguine pasta
  • 1.5 pounds raw shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 3 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning divided
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
  • 3 medium multi-color bell peppers sliced
  • 1 bunch green onions chopped
  • 8 ounces white or cremini mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 teaspoon of Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 3 minutes.
  5. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter.
  7. Add the sliced bell peppers, chopped green onions, and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté until tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining 2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning over the veggies and cook for an additional minute.
  9. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  10. Stir in the cooked linguine and toss until evenly coated with the sauce and veggies.
  11. Top with the cooked shrimp and squeeze fresh lemon over the pasta. Serve hot.

  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
