Creamy Feta and Bacon Bruschetta
A delicious creamy feta and bacon appetizer that has so much amazing flavor in each bite!
Ingredients
- 6 ounces feta cheese crumbled
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic about 1 clove, minced
- salt to taste, ground black pepper
- black pepper to taste, ground black pepper
- 6 lices Bacon cooked and chopped
- ½ cup grape tomato halved
- 3 tablespoons basil chopped, fresh
- 1 baguette cut into ¼-inch diagonal slices and toasted, about 20 slices
Instructions
- Add the feta, cream cheese, olive oil, and garlic to a food process and pulse until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread creamy feta on top of each toasted baguette slice. Top with the grape tomatoes, chopped bacon, and fresh basil.
Notes
- To toast the baguette slices in the oven, brush each slice with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake at 375 degrees oven for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown. Alternatively, you can toast them in the air fryer by brushing the slices with olive oil and sprinkling with salt, arranging them in a single layer in the basket of the air fryer, and then baking them at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-4 minutes.
