Creamy Garlic Dressing

This homemade dressing is creamy & garlicky. Use as a dip for veggies or as a dressing for salad!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 clove garlic minced or more to taste
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and vinegar in a bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Continue whisking while slowly adding olive oil. Stir in parsley, garlic, and onion powder.
  3. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
  4. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving or up to 2-3 days in the fridge.

Notes

  • Swap out the vinegar for lemon juice to change the flavor slightly.
  • Keep creamy dressings in the fridge for 2-3 days.  
  • Shake the cruet or mason jar vigorously before using it again.
  • Swap out the vinegar for lemon juice to change the flavor slightly.
  • For a thinner dressing, add a bit of milk or buttermilk.
