Creamy Garlic Parmesan Shrimp

BEST shrimp ever, with rich, buttery, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce. Takes 15 mins and so good.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz (350g) Shrimp peeled, deveined, tail-on
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon mirin optional
  • 3 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • parsley chopped, for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and butter, then sauté the garlic until aromatic. Add the shrimp, stir, and cook for 1 minute. Next, add the chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, mirin (if using), cayenne pepper, and salt.
  2. As soon as the sauce bubbles, add the lemon juice and stir to combine well. Turn off the heat and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese on top. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Shrimp is best served with my easy spaghetti (check out the recipe) and garlic broccoli.
