Creamy Homemade Peach Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 4 peaches (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup cream whole, whipping or heavy cream, with at least 30% fat content
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor add half the chopped peaches, milk, cream and sugar and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into the ice cream maker**, halfway through (depending on the instructions of the maker / mine took about 15 minutes) add the remaining chopped peaches and continue until firm.
  3. Ice cream can be served immediately or placed in the freezer for extra firming for approximately one or two hours.  Enjoy!
  4. **Read ice cream maker instructions before use.

Notes

  • The ice cream will keep in the freezer in an air tight freezer safe container for up to 2 weeks. After that time the texture will become grainy and ice crystals may start to form.
