Creamy Parmesan Garlic Shrimp Pasta is the perfect quick and easy meal that is on the dinner table in less than 20 minutes! Shrimp get coated in the very best creamy parmesan garlic sauce and is wonderful tossed with fresh pasta.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic 
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 8 ounces cooked and drained linguine noodles
  • chopped fresh parsley and parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a medium-sized skillet over medium-high heat. Season 1 pound peeled and deveined jumbo shrimp with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Add the seasoned shrimp and 3 teaspoons minced garlic to the skillet and cook until almost pink but not completely cooked.
  3. Add 1 cup heavy cream, ½ cup chicken broth, 1 teaspoon garlic powder,1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, and ½ cup parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir to combine then simmer for about 3-5 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken.
  4. Add 8 ounces cooked and drained linguine noodles to the sauce and shrimp mixture. Gently toss to combine and coat the noodles.
  5. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and parmesan cheese!
