Creamy Shrimp Pasta

Made with lemon, garlic, cream cheese, and parmesan, this Creamy Shrimp Pasta is an easy weeknight dinner full of flavor. Serve with breadsticks and a side salad for a quick dinner everyone is sure to love.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb raw deveined shrimp
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp pepper
Sauce ingredients
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1-2 cups chicken bullion/stock depending on how thick you want the sauce
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic 
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to the directions on the box and put it aside
  2. In a large bowl combine the shrimp with the garlic, salt, paprika and pepper
  3. Spray a large pan with non-stick spray and fry the shrimp. Remove the shrimp from the pan and put it aside
  4. Put the rest of the ingredients into the pan and gently heat until the cream cheese melts. Start with one cup of chicken bullion/stock and add more if you want a thinner sauce. Stir until everything is combined and smooth.
  5. Put the pasta and shrimp back into the pan and stir it well.
  6. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.
