Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage
- ½ cup diced yellow onion
- 1 8 ounces can Pillsbury crescent rolls or 1 can crescent dough sheet
- 10 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded, divided
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- If you are using crescent rolls unroll them and place side-by-side in the baking dish, pressing seams together to seal. If you are using a crescent dough sheet, unroll and place in a baking dish stretching if needed to cover the entire bottom of the dish. Set aside.
- In a skillet brown pork sausage and onion until no longer pink. Drain off any excess grease.
- While the sausage is cooking, combine eggs, milk, pepper and salt in a mixing bowl. Whisk to combine. Add Mozzarella cheese and one cup of cheddar cheese, stir to combine.
- Sprinkle cooked sausage mixture over the top of crescent roll dough in the baking dish. Then pour the egg mixture on top. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese.
- Place in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 35-45 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cup of Yum
