Ingredients
- 1 package crescent roll dough
- 6 tablespoons butter softened and divided
- ¼ cup sugar white sugar or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- Optional - 1 cup cream cheese icing or powdered sugar
Instructions
- If baking in the oven, preheat it to 375 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Or line the basket of your air fryer with parchment paper.
- Melt two tablespoon butter and set it aside.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a cutting board and separate the triangles. Spread ½ tablespoon of softened butter evenly over the top of each triangle.
- Mix the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and sprinkle half of the mixture over the top of the butter. Spread it evenly with the back of your spoon.
- Roll up the dough and place the crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet or into the air fryer basket.
- Brush the top of each roll with melted butter and top with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Oven Instructions - Bake in the preheated 375 F oven for 9 to 11 minutes until the rolls are golden brown.
- Air Fryer Instructions - Bake at 330 degrees F for 6-7 minutes, until the rolls are golden brown.
- While the rolls are still warm, spread or pipe the cream cheese icing over the top of each roll. Or sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm.

- When rolling the dough, make sure it's tight and even to keep the filling securely inside.
