Crescent Wrapped BBQ Meatball Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 packages of reduced-fat crescent rolls
  • 32 meatballs - these or these work great
  • 2/3 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Spray standard size muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Roll crescent roll dough into one large sheet, pinching seams together.
  4. Cut dough into 16 equal squares.
  5. Place a square into slot of muffin tin, top with a meatball pushing down gently.
  6. Repeat with remaining dough squares and meatballs.
  7. Top each meatball with a light drizzle of BBQ sauce. Do not get heavy handed here, it will make them soggy.
  8. Bake for 11-13 minutes or just until crescent dough is golden.
  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool before removing from pan and serving.
