Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon, ideally thick bacon works best, but regular will work too
  • cooking spray

Instructions

Air Fryer
    Cup of Yum
  1. I made these with thick-cut bacon and regular bacon, the temp was 350 for regular bacon and 370 degrees for thick cut bacon.
  2. Get out your bacon.
  3. Twist each slice and place inside your air fryer in a single layer, ideally not touching each other. You may need to make your bacon in batches.
  4. Set your air fryer to 350 degrees and your timer to 10 to 12 minutes for regular bacon and at 370 degrees for 10-12 minutes for thick.
  5. Ultimately, after your first batch you'll know how long your bacon will take to cook to your desired liking. Unfortunately between the different thickness of each brand of bacon and the many different air fryers, exact timing is impossible for me to tell. Believe me though, after the first time you make your bacon this way you'll know exactly how to make it in your own.
  6. Using tongs, remove bacon and place on top of paper towel if necessary or desired. Repeat with remaining bacon strips.
  7. Serve and enjoy every bite!
Oven
  1. Get your bacon ready for cooking inside your oven. Preheat it to 400 degrees. Prepare a rimmed baking sheet with tinfoil lightly coated in cooking spray.
Regular Bacon
  1. Twist each slice of bacon and place on top of your prepared sheet in a single layer, ideally not touching each other. A wire rack coated in cooking spray is ideal but not a requirement.
  2. Bake for 15-25 minutes, sometimes longer, or bacon is done to your liking. Because bacon thickness varies it's hard to be exact with timing. Remove from oven and place on paper towel if needed.
  3. Serve.
Thick Cut Bacon
  1. Twist slices on to your prepared baking sheet lightly coated with cooking spray. Again, a wire rack coated in cooking spray is ideal but not a requirement.
  2. Bake for 25-35 minutes, sometimes longer, or bacon is done to your liking. Because bacon thickness varies it's hard to be exact with timing.
  3. Serve and enjoy every bite.
