Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts are fresh sprouts halved and tossed with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper before air frying to a crunchy texture. They are then coated with soy sauce and balsamic vinegar for a tangy glaze. The method preserves a crisp exterior while infusing savory, tangy flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts fresh, washed and dried
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- black pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
- In a large bowl, toss the brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, until the brussels sprouts are evenly coated.
- Place the halves in a single layer in your airfryer and cook for 7 minutes at 340 degrees F. Remove the basket and shake it, then cook again for 6 to 7 minutes at 340 degrees F.
- Place them back into the large bowl and pour in the soy sauce and balsamic vinegar. Stir until evenly coated.
- Enjoy immediatel
Notes
- Select Brussels sprouts of similar size for even cooking; quarter larger sprouts rather than halving.
- Cook in a single layer to maximize crispiness; cook in batches if needed.
- Serve immediately after dressing to avoid sogginess; keep warm if making ahead and toss with dressing just before serving.
- Adjust cooking time depending on sprout size, adding extra minutes for larger pieces.
