Ingredients

  • ½ pounds Shrimp shelled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander chopped
  • ½ teaspoon white sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon cornstarch
  • pinch black pepper
  • 10 wonton wrappers
  • vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the shrimp and combine it with garlic, ginger, coriander, sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy sauce, cornstarch, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place the wonton wrappers on a flat surface and spoon a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wrapper.
  3. Brush the edges with some water and form a triangle shape.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F. Drop the wontons in the hot oil and deep-fry them in batches until golden brown. Place the wontons on paper towel to remove excess oil.
  5. Serve the wontons with mayonnaise or a dip of your choice. Enjoy!
