Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pot roast
  • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 pound baby carrots
  • 1 pound mini potatoes or diced potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the roast, potatoes, carrots and onions in a crock pot.
  2. Pour the beef broth, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce on top.
  3. Add the seasonings.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 5 hours.
  5. Shred the beef (it should fall apart). Spoon the sauce on top.
  6. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Delicious Balsamic Pot Roast is so tender in the crock pot. The brown sugar, balsamic vinegar and more combine for a wonderful meal.
