Crock Pot Beef Gyros

Ingredients
- FOR THE BEEF GYROS:
- 2 lbs roast beef cut into bite size pieces or strips
- 1 onion thinly sliced, large
- 1 Tbsp garlic minced
- 1 tsp oregano dried
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice fresh
- pita bread warmed folds
- tomato for serving, sliced
- lettuce for serving, sliced
- For the tzatziki sauce:
- 1 cup yogurt plain, Greek
- 1 cup cucumber seeded and shredded, diced
- 1 Tbsp dill dried or 2 Tbsp fresh
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced
- salt
- black pepper
Instructions
- Combine the beef onion, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a crock pot.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
- In a small bowl combine the ingredients for the TZATZIKI sauce.
- Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
- Place the beef in a warmed pita and top with the sauce.
