  • Storage And Reheating Tips
  • Storage And Reheating Tips
  • If you have leftovers place them in the a shallow, airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
  • Leftovers can also be frozen for up to 3 months in a freezer container.
  • To reheat leftovers, thaw if it is frozen overnight in the refrigerator. We recommend reheating it in the oven in an oven safe dish, covered for 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees or until heated through.
  • You can also warm it on the stove top in a skillet, covered on low heat until heated through.
  • Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave in a microwave safe dish but this can dry it out a bit!
  • We recommend cooking this for 6-8 hours, but if it’s in the crockpot longer that’s fine. Don’t worry about it being over cooked.
  • Don’t remove the lid! Just let this cook all day long. If you remove the lid moisture escapes and therefore moisture escapes your food.
  • Want a thicker gravy? Mix 1-2 Tablespoons of cornstarch or flour with 2 to 3 Tablespoons of water until smooth. Then add it to the crock pot, stir and let it thicken.
  • We enjoy our slow cooker cube steak with gravy served over egg noodles, but try it with mashed potatoes or rice to mix it up!
  • Throw in a few cubed potatoes with the steak in the crock pot and let that cook with it.
