Ingredients

  • 1 onion diced, medium, yellow
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds Green bean washed and trimmed, fresh
  • 2 cups chicken broth low-sodium
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Transfer the sautéed onion and garlic into a 6-quart Crock-Pot. Add green beans and chicken broth.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
