Crock Pot Ham and Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • (1) 16 oz. package dry white beans
  • 1 lb cubed ham
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine everything into the slow cooker.
  2. Stir and cover.
  3. Heat on low for 6-8 hours or until beans are cooked and soft.
  4. Serves 6-8
  5. Note: I do not wash and rinse my beans, but you certainly can do this.

Notes

  • You do not have to soak the beans the night before.
