Crock Pot Hot Dog Chili

Crock Pot Hot Dog Chili is the perfect addition to your hot dog bar. This hot dog chili is full of flavor and easy to make with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce 8 oz can
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain off any excess grease and water off the beef.
  2. Add the beef to a crock pot.  Add in all the other ingredients.  Stir to combine the ingredients.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours.  
  4. Serve on hot dogs with your favorite toppings and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use a low fat ground beef for the best flavor and to prevent the chili from being greasy. 
  • If the chili is too thick, add water to thin it out to the consistency that you prefer. 
  • Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
