Crock Pot Roast with Potatoes Recipe

Quick and easy slow cooker pot roast made with potatoes. It is seasoned with ranch seasoning and has a delicious gravy!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb roast
  • 1 lb potatoes cleaned and halved
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 8 oz package cream cheese softened
  • 1 oz envelope ranch seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. Coat crock pot with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Placed halved potatoes on bottom of the crock pot and place meat on the potatoes.
  3. In a bowl whisk together soup, cream cheese and dressing mix. Pour over meat and potatoes in slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 9-10 hours or on high for 4 1/2 to 5 hours.

Notes

  • Searing Roast - You can sear the roast before placing in crock pot to really make the flavor lock in. 
  • To sear heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in skillet over high heat. Sear roast on all sides (about 5 minutes per side). Then transfer roast to the slow cooker and prepare recipe.
