Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef browned
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 3 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 16 oz elbow macaroni not cooked

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until it is brown. (Or use your Ninja)
  2. Add to a 6 quart slow cooker.
  3. Add in onion, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce and broth. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4.
  5. 15 minutes before serving stir in the pasta. It will look very watery but don't worry the pasta will soak it up. Cover and cook for 15 minutes until the desired tenderness is reached.
  6. Stir in the cheese until melted.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Buy block cheddar cheese and then hand shred it. It will melt more evenly. You can use any kind of cheese, but I love sharp cheddar cheese in this recipe.
  • Serve with steamed broccoli for a complete dinner.
