Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 small potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 1 small white onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup carrots (shredded)
  • 3 cups beef broth (2 cans)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoing
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (block cut into smaller pieces)

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in large skillet over high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Place the ground beef, potatoes, onions, and carrots in a 6 quart crock pot.
  3. Pour the beef broth and the cream of mushroom soup over the vegetables.
  4. Add seasonings and stir.
  5. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and the block of cream cheese into the crock pot.
  7. Add lid and cook for about 30 minutes on low until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve with your favorite burger toppings.

Notes

  • Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
